cash doing his best braveheart impersonation.
cash loves to dance. not a day goes by that he doesn't take at least 10 minutes to shake his little groove thang.
i started turning the radio on in his room for him while he's playing to help encourage that energy-using urge to dance and started to notice that he definitely shows preference to certain songs.
if its got a good beat, he's in.
but he also loves songs he can sing to and, frequently, does. (adele's rolling in the deep is a fave. also anything by maroon 5 - this boy is taking advantage of that falsetto.)
so the other day i put together a little playlist of his top favorites.
it's pretty much a given that if we get in the car, this is what we're jamming to:
-- MJ's Bad
-- Foster the People's Pumped up Kicks
-- Colbie Caillat's Brighter than the Sun
-- Jason Mraz's I'm Yours
-- Casey Weston's Black Horse and a Cherry Tree
-- Michael Franti's Say Hey
-- Beyonce's Single Ladies (yes, I'm serious. he LOVES this one.)
-- Adele's Rolling in the Deep
-- Maroon 5's Moves like Jagger
i'm getting a little tired of Bad, but it's a far cry better than ol' mcdonald or something else equally lame.
my kid is so cool sometimes.
